Join St. Louis Wild Ones as they learn how others are landscaping with native plants, help remake front yards in our annual “Landscape Challenge” contest, sell natives at the Shaw Nature Reserve plant sale, volunteer in Forest Park and just enjoy beautiful native plants.

Several Wild Ones members have helped with the annual Forest Park project to remove invasive non-native bush honeysuckle.
In September 2012, interested Wild Ones members were able to dig plants for their personal use from a backyard prairie in Rock Hill. The homeowner will create some open space while keeping the remaining prairie as a border.
