Invasive plants are a threat to native ecosystems and landscapes because they compete with native plants for light, nutrients and moisture. Many natural and landscaped areas have become severely infested with invasive species due to years or decades of neglect. Control methods described in this class are designed for homeowners who are having problems with bush honeysuckle and other invasive plants.

Location: All classes with begin in the classroom behind the Joseph H. Bascom House (Except for Plant Propagation will gather in the Green House).

Fees: $15 for non-members; $12 for members.

Continuing Education Credits: CEU’s available on request (three per course).
