The goal for this workshop is to inspire and educate beginning and practicing native gardeners.

Author Doug Tallamy will give two presentations: “Bringing Nature Home,” and “Are Alien Plants Bad?”  Other speakers include Dave Tylka and Scott Woodbury.

9:00 – 10:15 AM: Keynote talk: Bringing Nature Home – Doug Tallamy
10:15 – 10:45 AM: Break/visit booths
10:45 – noon: Bird and Butterfly Landscapes for St. Louis – Dave Tylka
Noon – 1:00 PM: Lunch/visit booths
1:00 – 2:00 PM: Are Alien Plants Bad? – Doug Tallamy
2:00 – 3:00 PM: What is Rainscaping? – Cindy Gilberg
3:00 – 3:30 PM: Break/visit booths
3:30 – 4:30 PM: Shade Landscapes: Challenges & Solutions – Scott Woodbury
4:30 – 5:00 PM: Closing/visit booths

NOTE: This event is separate from the Friday event, and requires a separate registration.

Advance registration and payment are required for both events this year. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration deadline is March 12, but earlier registration is encouraged as space is limited.

The cost for the Saturday workshop is $25, which includes lunch and a native landscape guide.
