Wild Ones monthly gathering – nursery tour at Creve Coeur Park

Wild Ones monthly gathering - nursery tour at Creve Coeur Park

When

Saturday, Sep. 10
9:30 am

Event Type

We will meet at CommuniTree Gardens nursery (Forest ReLeaf of Missouri) in Creve Coeur Park, just a bit north of the Lakehouse Bar and Grill on Creve Coeur Mill Road right before the 364 overpass.

Note: GPS might take you to the wrong location. Please use the directions in this pdf link.

The Nursery is home to more than 150 different species or cultivars of species, over 95% of which are native to Missouri. Come learn tree identification, explore how rain gardens attract wildlife and cut costs, and see examples of species that thrive in hard to grow areas.  The greenhouse, rain garden, and wildflower garden feature 65 species of native plants, many grown from seed collected and donated by volunteers.

Choose Saturday morning, September 10 or Wednesday evening, September 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to come earlier and bring their picnic supper. If there is a light rain, the tour will be held, but if there is inclement weather and any sort of storm warning, assume the tour is canceled.

Note: Our meetings are open to the public. We hope you’ll join us!
