The Native Plant Garden Tour Planning Committee has been closely monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) across the St. Louis metropolitan area and the nation.
With the ongoing health concerns, we have cancelled the June 20th event. Further, with no way to predict when a return to normal might begin or what that will look like, we have also decided to not re-schedule any in-person tour for 2020. The tour committee is exploring some virtual tour possibilities and will be in communication about upcoming events.
Due to shelter in place rules, many of us are now spending more time at home, and more time in our landscapes. From discussions that we’ve had with several members, it is clear that each of us, having our very own “Homegrown National Park“, is a blessing right now! Being outside in the landscape provides fresh air, opportunities to observe nature, physical exercise, and a break from the news of the day. Take time to enjoy!
