Wild Ones St Louis members gathered at the annual seed exchange to celebrate their 2024 garden accomplishments, plan for their gardens’ future, exchange information and ideas and enjoy refreshments.
Kathy Bildner, Kevin Mowery and Susan Burk answered questions, made recommendations and contributed many of the seed packets. In addition, Wild Ones members brought seeds – there were very few left at the end of the evening.
Laura Arthur presented techniques for winter sowing. She answered questions about timing and described methods that had been most effective for her.
Later, the group moved for the annual meeting.
The results of the online election were announced with Marsha Gebhardt, President and Laura Yates, Secretary winning re-election for another term.
Everyone eagerly awaited the announcement of the attendance prize winners! $50 gift certificates for the various native plant garden shops in the St Louis area were awarded to the winners.
