Wild Ones Wildflower Walk at St. Francois State Park - March 29, 2025 at 10AM
Join us as we walk the Swimming Deer Trail in search of spring wildflowers and spend some time in nature.
Where: St. Francois State Park, Swimming Deer Trail. Parking is available at the campground restroom parking area. We'll gather in the parking area before going to the trailhead. GPS coordinates: 37.9551, -90.5292
Restroom available only at parking area.
When: Saturday, March 29th at 10:00 am. If necessary, Cancellations will be notified via email by 8:00 am on March 29th.
Wear sturdy hiking/walking shoes and bring water. You may also want to bring sunscreen, hat, tick spray, camera, walking sticks, rain gear and snacks.
The trail is 3.1 miles and rated moderate so know your skill level. There is also the option the group can split in two if some people want to go part way and turn around instead of doing the entire loop.
