Wild Ones St. Louis wants inspire and promote more knowledge about native plants for those in the horticulture industry.
For this reason, the Chapter is willing to pay for selected students in the St. Louis Community College-Meramec Horticulture program to take the Grow Native! Professional Certification Test.
Candidates will preferably be seniors or recent graduates, perhaps already involved in the native plant world in some capacity, and WILLING TO STUDY to pass this difficult exam.
Wild Ones St. Louis will pay in advance for one attempt of each section of the exam, it can be taken in sections as long as all four sections are completed within the same calendar year.
This is a rolling, ongoing application process.
Exams are offered in April, August or December in various locations across the state.
Wild Ones will not pay for a retake of the exam if the student does not pass the exam or a section(s) of the exam, or complete all sections within the calendar year,
