Once again, we are partnering with the St. Louis Audubon Society to present the second annual St. Louis Native Plant Garden Tour on Saturday, June 18, 2016.
The event sold out in 2015 when 200 tickets were made available. In addition, attendees gave very positive feedback. Therefore, we are making 300 tickets available this year. The Tour will feature ten gardens selected for their variety of styles and maturity and will be centered in central St. Louis County, including Clayton, Ladue, and University City.

Volunteer Opportunity
Now is your chance to sign up to be a volunteer on the day of the Tour.
At each home, there will be two volunteers in the morning and two in the afternoon: a “greeter” and a “homeowner assistant”. Last year the 40+ volunteers said they had very positive experiences.
In addition to meeting people, getting to know people better, and the satisfaction of sharing native plants with others, volunteers receive a St. Louis Native Plant Garden Tour t-shirt and are able to visit the gardens for free during the half-day they are not working. If you are interested, we encourage you to sign up early for the limited number of slots.
If you have any questions about this volunteer opportunity, please contact Dawn.
15 volunteers so far!
Dawn,
Wow!
Is that total volunteers or just those who signed up through St. Louis Wild Ones?
It’s a combination of the paper forms that were filled out on Wednesday night, some probably from the blog post update email and some folks from Mitch’s list that I forwarded the link to.
Now at 17 🙂
We have 20 volunteers so far but still need 20 more!
