The Wild Ones St. Louis Chapter mentorship program helps members build community and share experience, information, and enthusiasm about growing native plants. Mentorship is a one-year commitment starting in early spring; each mentorship circle is made up of a mentor and 1-3 mentees who all live or garden relatively close to one another.
All current members are welcome to apply to be mentors or mentees. Mentors do not have to be gardening experts, simply members interested in sharing knowledge and experience and willing to help mentees find additional resources. Mentees can also be members of any experience looking for ideas, information, and camaraderie on the native-gardening journey.
For more specifics about the program and to apply to participate this year as a mentor or mentee, please visit our mentoring home page.
The deadline to apply is March 9. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to accommodate everyone interested in participating, but we’ll do our best!
