Wildflower Walk August 7 at Kress Farm

Kress Farm Garden Preserve

August 7, 2026 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Besa Schweitzer received special permission to access the preserve after hours so this is a unique opportunity to experience the preserve at night.    Besa is going to lead us on a twilight walk starting at 7:30 PM for approximately 2 hours.   We should see and hear night life including deer, turkey, bats, fireflies, birds, frogs and more.

Kress Farm Garden Preserve maintains 142 acres of native plants and garden habitat with a mission to preserve it for future generations.   The preserve is open to the public during specified hours and holds periodic plant sales, etc. to raise money.

If necessary, cancellations will be notified by noon on the day of the hike.  If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible so we can open the space to another person.  

Dress for the weather, wear sturdy hiking/walking shoes and bring water and a flashlight.  You may also want to bring tick spray, walking stick, rain gear and snacks.

Please note:  There are no restrooms available on site.
