Once again, we are partnering with the St. Louis Audubon Society to present the third annual St. Louis Native Plant Garden Tour on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
This self-guided tour of residential gardens in St. Louis focuses on West county locations this year, highlighting fall blooming plants.
See examples of:
— Sun and shade gardening
— Wet sites and dry sites
— Bird and butterfly friendly gardens
We hope the Tour will inspire you with landscaping ideas on how to use native plants for improving your outdoor environment for the benefit of yourself, others, and the bees, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife that will be attracted to your yard.

Volunteers Needed
Like last year, we will rely on volunteer help at each of the homes on the day of the Tour. Review the volunteer responsibilities and benefits on our Dig In! website page. If you are interested in volunteering just complete and submit the Volunteer Registration Form located on that page.
In addition to meeting people, getting to know people better, and the satisfaction of sharing native plants with others, volunteers receive a St. Louis Native Plant Garden Tour t-shirt and are able to visit the gardens for free during the half-day they are not working. If you are interested, we encourage you to sign up early for the limited number of slots.
Arrive on time and check in with the homeowner(s)
AM shift – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
PM shift – 12:15 to 4:00 p.m.
