Don’t miss out on the fourth annual St. Louis Native Plant Garden Tour on Saturday, June 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tickets are limited in order to provide a high-quality, educational tour of 11 gardens.
This self-guided tour includes both traditional and natural approaches with a variety of habitats, providing you with a fantastic opportunity to talk to homeowners, ask questions, take photos, and spark some new ideas for your own garden. Eight of the hosts on this year’s Tour are Wild Ones members!
Volunteers are stationed as greeters and as homeowner assistants in order to direct traffic, answer questions, and help ID plants, species, or beds when possible. See examples of:
- Sun and shade gardening
- Wet sites and dry sites
- Bird and butterfly friendly gardens
We hope the Tour will inspire you with landscaping ideas on how to use native plants for improving your outdoor environment for the benefit of yourself, others, and the bees, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife that will be attracted to your yard.
