The Landscape Challenge is sponsored by Wild Ones and Grow Native!. The winner will receive a front-yard garden with up to $600 worth of plants, designed by a professional landscape designer, and planted by Wild Ones volunteers. The approximate planting area will be 300 square feet.
Applicants must live in the St. Louis City or St. Louis County and preference is given to those who have had an assessment by St. Louis Audubon’s Bring Conservation Home program. The homeowner must prepare the site for planting. The Landscape Challenge sponsors will not pay for items such as tree removal, fixing drainage problems or building walls/terraces. Application will be accepted starting on Monday, October 21, 2024 and are due no later than Monday, November 25, 2024.

Site reviews and interviews of the finalists will be completed in November/December with the winner announced in late December. The designer will work with the winning homeowner(s) on a plan in January/February and planting will be sometime in April.
