Event Type

October 6, 10:00: The College School La Barque Creek campus visit and potluck

The gardens were designed by our own Besa Schweitzer.  She is the landscaper for the new building site property.  In 2017 our chapter gave a grant which funded two of the six rain gardens.

The campus learning center will soon be certified in the Living Building Challenge, one of only 11 such structures in the world. Living Building Challenge is widely considered to represent the highest level of achievement in a green building rating system even above the better-known LEED certification.
