Wild Ones (National) Photo Contest
Entry period is September 1, 2020 – November 1, 2020

Members check your email from National from August 12th with the subject” Wild Ones August Update” for the details of the contest and how to enter.

Missouri Prairie Foundation Native Plant Sale 
Saturday, September 12, 2020  11:00 AM – 1:30 PM

The Missouri Prairie Foundation will hold a pre-paid/pickup only native plant sale at the World Bird Sanctuary, 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road, Valley Park, MO, 63088 on September 12, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Place orders by September 10-11 (depending on the vendor) with the vendors listed below.
 

The Basics of Tree ID with Mark Grueber 
Presented by the St. Charles and St. Louis Master Gardener Speaker Series
September 16, 2020 6:00 PM

A community forester develops urban tree planting and community forest plans, responds to requests for assistance with insect and disease problems, makes recommendations for building around trees and selection of tree species for plantings, works with Forest ReLeaf and Forest Keepers region wide, promotes National Arbor Day and Tree City USA programs, certifies champion trees, and responds to commercial, industrial, and utility requests for assistance with tree management, among other duties.

2020 Native Plant Expo and Sale
Saturday, October 3, 2020 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM 

Please join us for our 7th annual celebration of native plant gardening at the Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood!
This is a PLANT SALE only…due to COVID, no swap or giveaway of plants or seeds. Other COVID precautions will be in place including physical distance, on-site attendance limit and face masks required.

You can shop on-site or place a pre-order with any of the retailers for pick-up on-site.
