St. Louis Audubon Society habitat restoration workdays

The St. Louis Audubon Society has several projects scheduled this spring at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park and Castlewood State Park:

Work crew at an Audubon Society work dayMarch 9th. Honeysuckle removal at Castlewood State Park.

March 23rd. Confluence Trash Bash at Creve Coeur Park.  Contact Mitch Leachman at  director@stlouisaudubon.org or (314) 599-7390 if you have questions or would like to be a team leader. Otherwise, use the online registration form.

April 6th. Honeysuckle removal at Creve Coeur Park.

April 20th. Tree planting at Castlewood State Park. Help us celebrate Earth Day in style!

May 4th. Honeysuckle removal at Creve Coeur Park.

We hope you can make at least one of the projects, and please share the info with your friends, on your Facebook page and such. All projects are half-day and end with lunch which is provided. The honeysuckle projects are best suited for those 12 and up. The Trash Bash is ideal for families with little ones. For all projects, those under 18 will need to have a parent sign a release form (to be sent later).

A reminder message with additional details, including the release form, will be sent to all registered volunteers the week before the scheduled project. Volunteers are requested to register by providing their name, contact information and number attending at director@stlouisaudubon.org or (314) 599-7390.
