Introducing “This Month in our Native Gardens” Zoom series

Hosted by Wild Ones St Louis

This ongoing monthly virtual presentation series is for the members of the Wild Ones St. Louis chapter, a benefit of membership, who want extra advice, enjoy learning from others experiences, or just need a little motivation each month.

The series will be led by Besa Schweitzer, St. Louis chapter member and native garden specialist.

Via Zoom, the group will meet on the first Wednesday of the month to discuss imminent gardening topics. We will share our garden learning experiences and Besa will do her best to answer questions.

We will be following The Wildflower Garden Planner through the months. It is recommended that you read the month’s chapter before each meeting and have your book to follow along and take notes.

Each month a few people will share their learning experiences with the group.

After the meeting, the videos will be linked below and are available to the public.Subscribe to the Wild Ones St Louis youtube channel to be notified of the latest video.

About Besa, from her website: I’m a native garden specialist with over 15 years experience gardening with native plants. After receiving my bachelors degree in Environmental Studies I went on to study horticulture. I first started work in plant conservation at Missouri Botanical Garden in 2003 but quickly transferred to Shaw Nature Reserve to work in native plant horticulture until 2016. I decided to branch off on my own and am now running my own business.
